A long-time passion project in collaboration with CeMelusine, the shape has changed several times but the characters remain the same in a world of spoopy-yet-menacing nature.
The burgermeister of your berg, a consummate politician and therefore inherently untrustworthy. He regularly gives updates as to the Curse level, but he could very well be lying in order to try and get everyone to go back to in-person work so that the office real estate market doesn’t crater. You never know.
She’s working on the cure for the Curse, and nothing will stand in her way…not bioethics, not medical best-practices, not even the fact that she never finished that questionable PhD in Curseology and actually specialized in Mad Physics instead. You really should probably call her “doctor” without the degree, though…if you know what’s best for you.
Another enigma, she could be a victim of the Curse looking to get you to join her, or warn you about it. It would really help if she actually talked rather than hovering unsettlingly near your window.
The only time that someone carries around a scythe for purely agriculturally-adjacent reasons, Peter is your remote coworker. Maybe.
No one knows exactly what this enigma is up to. He could be working against the Curse, or for it, or on something else entirely (like a completely unrelated tarot divination game).
A mad prophet, he knows what’s up, and knows how to protect himself from the evil eye, though it always seems to be right behind him…

A two-character game concept set in a nuclear-isolated version of Russia separated by a mass Chernobyl-like event where suddenly all those folktale creatures you thought weren’t real are coming out of the woodwork and they’re mad…
